Agreed. Ngl, I'm kinda disappointed with how things have gone over the past few months with DOGE. Not to mention that DOGE is trying to hold out a flood with a napkin. The real problems here are Social Security, Medicare, and like you mentioned -- the Fed and military industrial complex. Just the first two alone are going to bankrupt us before long. Add in everything else and we are a country leaning over a precipice, about to fall.
Not to slam what DOGE has done, because they really have done good work and cleaned up a lot of wasteful spending. They're just ignoring the elephant in the room, like everyone else.
Yes, exactly. I think their proposed budget is bigger than the outgoing Bidens was, so...so much for whatever DOGE saved us, it looks like it's going to mainly the military. More waste!
That 80 billion or whatever it was is that was cut is no longer worth bragging about after that stunt they pulled. That’s just a baby fraction compared to what these pro DOGE republicans just passed.
